Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, as they say! These superfood choices will help your child get off to a great start, with plenty of brain fuel. The right nutrition helps gifted children boost their brain power!
Eggs are great brain food, especially when they have kale mixed in. If your kids aren’t too fond of kale, baby spinach is much gentler on the taste buds.
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup kale, chopped
1 tablespoon parsley, minced
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Fillings of your choice (cheese, ham, bacon, tomatoes, olives, etc.)
Heat a frying pan over medium high heat and add a dash of olive oil.
In a bowl, beat the eggs, kale, parsley and garlic powder until well integrated. Pour into the hot pan and cook until the edges are done.
Flip the omelet and cook for another minute before adding the chosen fillings and folding over. Heat through and serve.
